He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wessling and Sylvia Wessling; his sister Norma VanNess; and his son Micheal Weiks. He is survived by: his wife Joan Wessling; his children, Ed, Diane, Pat and Jacquline; his grandchildren, Carol, Scott, Joey, Christopher, Janine, Jennifer, Danny, Erin and Mickey; and his great grandchildren, Jade, Cory, Tyler, Caleb, Kinsley, Abby, Ryder, Sawyer, Chace and Brooks.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dangler Funeral Home (600 Speedwell Ave, Morris Plains, NJ 07950). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hanover Cemetery (30-72 Hanover Rd #30, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Judes Children's Hospital (http://www.stjude.org.) or a charity of your choice to a rehab center that has helped your loved one.
