He was predeceased by : his parents, Veronica Szobota (Lovas) and John Szobota. He is survived by : his wife Lola Szobota (Mencarelli); his children, Jennifer Szobota of Easton, PA, Melissa Muszala (Stefan) of Boulder, CO and Jason Szobota (Karen) of Henrico, VA; his grandchildren, Nathan Szobota, Eve Marie Muszala and Ryan Szobota; his brother Stephen Szobota; his brother-in-law Robert Mencarelli (Cynthia); his nephews, Nicholas Szobota, Erik Szobota (Melissa), Daniel and David Mencarelli; his niece Joanne Conforte (Peter); his cousins, Gail, Carl Melkus, Suzanne, Eric D'Eramo, Michael, Christine D'Eramo and Stephanie Szobota; and his nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Jillian, Caitlin, Lauren and Ian.
