Daniel leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Daniel’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Daniel will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He is survived by: his wife Corinne LaPlaca; his children, R. J. and Emelia LaPlaca; his parents, Alice LaPlaca and Joseph LaPlaca; his sister Amy Provus; and his nieces and nephews, Matty and Ayla Provus. He is also survived by cousins, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Higgins & Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home (582 Springfield Ave, Westfield, NJ 07090). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Helen's RC Church (1600 Rahway Ave, Westfield, NJ 07090).
