She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland McLaurin and Fannie McLaurin; her former husbands, Charles Monroe and Oscar McGinnis; her brothers, Paul and Leroy McLaurin; and her daughter Tracey McGinnis Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Calvin Walker; her children, Debora Monroe Ducksworth (Wayne), Renee McGinnis and Charles Anthony Monroe (Donna); her grandchildren, Jaquita Monroe, Wayne A. Ducksworth (Traci), Brittney Girault (Ron), Amber Ducksworth, Kelli Brown, Jason Brown, Davina Brown and Gabrielle Monroe; her great grandchildren, Ayden, Micah and Austin Girault; and her cousins, Maxine Green and Lois Brown (Billy). She is also survived by extended family and a dear circle of friends.
