We are sad to announce that, on February 28, 2026, Helen M. DeMond of Morristown, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Helen may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin DeMond; her sister Frances McLaughlin; and her daughter Ruth Ondreah Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Johnson (Dave Jenkins) and Robert Johnson (Kim Kiser); and her stepchildren, Jeffrey DeMond (Helene Sullivan) and Jeanne Hirsch (Steve). She is also survived by six grandchildren.
