We announce the death of Kathleen D. Layendecker (Morristown, New Jersey), who passed away on September 18, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ryan and Margaret Ryan (Quinn); her former husband James C. Layendecker; and her brothers, Jack and Philip Ryan.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra; her husband David Joyal; her grandchildren, Andrew, Zachary, Aidan and Zoey Joyal; her siblings, Robert (Lorraine Ryan) and Patricia Ryan; her sister-in-law Kathleen Ryan; and her nieces, Jennifer Ifil-Ryan, Lorraine Ryan and Suzanne Keating.
A committal service was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the St. Peter's Episcopal Church (70 Maple Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Presbyterian Church (57 E Park Pl, Morristown, NJ 07960).
