It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter C. Ibsen Sr. of Morristown, New Jersey, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Peter Emil and Dorothy Ibsen (Backes); his significant other Barbara Briggs; his children, Peter Ibsen, Jr. and Tracey Ibsen-Lasser (Stuart); his grandson Christopher Mrugalski (Maribeth); his great grandchildren, Hunter, Kinley and Ryker; his stepchildren, Robert Palmer, Rochelle Duda (Michael) and Richard Palmer (Lynne); his stepgrandchildren, Tim Duda (Jenny), Dan Duda, Kimberly Lawler (Michael) and Jeffrey Palmer; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Emmy, Charlie Duda, Austin and Aubrey Lawler; and his sons, Anderson and Brady Briggs.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Research Hospital or the Montclair YMCA would be deeply appreciated.
