He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis J. Halkirt and Florence E. Halkirt; his daughter Morgan-Lee; and his sister Patricia. He is survived by: his wife Jane Halkirt; his sons, Ryan Halkirt (Allyssa) and Michael Halkirt (Victoria); and his grandchildren, Rory Halkirt, Maddison Halkirt, Luca Halkirt and Briella Halkirt.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home (1 Main St, Franklin, NJ 07416). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
