He was predeceased by : his wife Elaine W. McIntosh; his parents, George W. McIntosh and Margaret M. McIntosh; his brother George B. McIntosh; his brother-in-law Bruce Chrone; and his niece Lauren Chrone.

He is survived by : his sisters, Mary Margaret Barter (Dave) and Winifred M. Chrone; and his nieces and nephews, Meredith Barter, Meghan B. O'Brien, Marguerite Barter, David A. Barter, Philip Barter and Jonathan Chrone. He is also survived by 15 great-nieces and nephews.

“In loving memory of William D. McIntosh, So dearly loved. So sadly missed. God bless. He was a man who loved to laugh, and loved life. He was always cracking jokes, and making people laugh, and smile. I only knew him briefly, but felt like I new him forever. He is now up in heaven, with his wife, and other family members.
