She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennie J. AuWerter (Helhowski) and William F. AuWerter; her close friend Richard Hessert; and her sister Karen Phillips (Missy). She is survived by: her children, Denise (Burke Cain) of Rehoboth and Douglas (Lisa Visconti) of Berlin, NJ; her grandchildren, Amanda (Gregory Evans), Ashley (Craig Scanland), Stephanie (Kyle Zimnuich), Julia (Nate Strother), William Hanson (Miranda), Frank Visconti (MaryLynn) and Whitney Pascale (Dan); her brother-in-law Elmer Phillips; her niece Jenny Farina (Vince); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Avery and Logan; and her nephew Kurt Phillips (Sara). She is also survived by cousins and many dear friends.
