He is survived by: his wife Karen Callahan; his children, Joseph III (Stephanie), Jennifer Weick (Tom) and Daniel Callahan; his siblings, Helen Marie Halverson (Bob), Jane Callahan and Jim Callahan; his nephew Ron Homa (Nicole); and his niece Erin Barnes (Ryan).
