He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Sr. Malan and Margaret Malan. He is survived by: his wife Donna; and his sisters, Kathleen Miller (Edward McCormick), Patricia Reis (Richard), Lenore Baldwin (Eric), Mary Keating (Richard) and Maureen Pasquini (Stephen). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
