Madeline Matakonis Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Madeline Matakonis of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 13, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank (Mary Halt) and NJ; her husband Frank Matakonis; and her siblings, Marjorie Crawford, Joanne Murphy, Mary Cassidy, Bernadette Halt, Frank Halt and Gerald Halt.

She is survived by: her son Michael Matakonis (Melanie); her siblings, Rosalie Sminkey and Joseph Halt; and her grandchildren, Olivia and Gracyn Matakonis. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, close friends and neighbors.
