Teresa Bassano Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Bassano of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, born in Camden, New Jersey, who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Teresa may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Teresa touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Tomasetta and Philomena Tomasetta; and her siblings, Linda Bassano, Francis Bassano and Denise Bassano.

She is survived by: her sisters, Lisa Lane (Dan) and Maria Tomasetta; and her siblings' children, Andrew DeNittis, Julianna DeNittis, Bobby Lane and Lance Lane.

“We (myself and my PA, Damon) loved working with Teri - she was so caring and professional. We looked forward to our days working together. We frequently made-up incredible stories. We had had a lot of laughs together. As of the past couple years, I developed a habit of bringing donuts in the morning for the staff when I had scheduled surgeries. I remember her telling me the kind she liked the most. I always made sure to bring it for her. Our hearts are broken. My sincere condolences and prayers.”
