We announce the death of Angela George of Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 88. Angela will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Colello and Rose Colello; her husband Anthony C. George; and her sister-in-law Toni. She is survived by: her daughters, Toni Ann George and Karen Cornelius (Bob); her grandchildren, Erica (Paul), Marissa, Krista, Michael and Katie; and her brothers, Matthew (Valerie) and Ronnie.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Leonardis Memorial (210 Ridgedale Ave, Florham Park, NJ 07932). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 9:45 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (312 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936). A burial was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
