He was predeceased by: his parents, Alistair MacDonald and Margaret Graf; his sister Gladys Becker (Carl); and his sister-in-law Shirley Barner. He is survived by: his wife Joan Rae MacDonald (Barner); his sisters, Peggy Schweikardt (Donald) and Isabel Kracht (Richard); his brother-in-law Jeffrey Barner (Rebecca); and his children, Donald MacDonald Jr. (Patricia), Thomas MacDonald (Debra), Tracie Holmes (Thomas), David MacDonald (Debra) and Patrick MacDonald. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.
