She was predeceased by : her parents, Fumio Tsukada and Hanako Tsukada; and her siblings, Kyoko Prieto (Andrew) and Kazuo Tsukada. She is survived by : her spouse Tadao Hara; her children, Nobumichi Hara (Jane Marie) of Phoenix, AZ and Izumi Hara (David N. Koschik) of Montclair, NJ; and her grandchildren, Naomi (Jason Hohn), Hitomi (Curtis Mewhinney), Eimi (Jonathan Flores), Yoshinobu Hara (Anushree), Caroline, Eleanor and Abigail Koschik. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.

Suzuko Hara, age 94, died at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from complications due to COVID-19.
