He is survived by: his wife Saundra; his sons, Dean Edelson (Elaine) of Sedona, Arizona and Todd Edelson of Montclair; his grandchildren, Ian, Ken and Eliah; his great grandchild Adrienne; his brother Stan Edelson; and his sister-in-law Wendy Edelson of Sarasota, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation in honor of Dan's lifelong gift of giving.
