Ruby Glisson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Glisson (Neptune City, New Jersey), who passed away on February 16, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Blaney Washington and Lula Washington; her husband Thomas Glisson; her siblings, Blaney, Joseph Washington and Rebecca Nelson; her daughter Anna; her grandchildren, Dr. Gerald, Donnell, Dana, Tymyra and Porscha Glisson; her great grandchild Jason Glisson (JJ); her daughter-in-law Barbara Glisson; and her granddaughter-in-law Michelle Glisson.

She is survived by: her children, Lula M. King of Neptune, Thomas of Neptune, Eugene of Neptune, Garry of Neptune, Carol of Neptune and Regina Glisson of Neptune; her brother Willie Washington of Sumter, S. C.; her daughter Celeste D. Miller; her adoptive son Dr. Randy Hawkins; and her close friend Lizzie P. Moseley.

There she sang in the choir until the COVID pandemic.
