He was loved and cherished by many people including : his son Kirby; his parents, Herman Elijah and Mamie Ella Scott (Johnson); his brother Nathaniel Elijah (Nate); his wife Anne Norris Cannady; his sons, Charles H. Scott Jr. (Carol) and Reuben V. Scott (Jane) of Ashburn, VA.; his grandchildren, Ashley, Emily, Kevin, Mya, Aaron and Emma; and his great grandchild Aurora. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
