She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Ellis and Rosa Ellis; her husband Earl J. Whittaker Sr.; her son Donald; and her siblings, Albert Ellis, Charles Ellis, James Ellis, David Ellis, Alfonso Ellis, Henry Ellis, Helen Ellis, RosaAnn Chandler, Marva Foster and Betty Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Roberts of Torrance, CA, Earl Whittaker Jr. (Neptune) and Kathrine Whittaker (Neptune); and her siblings, Dorothy Caldwell of Columbus, GA, Ruth Segars of Hartsville, SC and George Ellis (Gilda) of Louisiana. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
