We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2024, at the age of 78, Jessie M Jenkins of Neptune, New Jersey, born in Bethel, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Martha Keel Jenkins and Harold Linden Jenkins; and his siblings, Barbara Jean Taft, Harold "Jack" L. Jenkins, Jr., Fred Jenkins, Vernal Raymond Jenkins and James "Jimmy" Jenkins.

He is survived by : his wife Jeanette Jenkins of Neptune, NJ; his children, Tawanda L. Cooper of Neptune, NJ, Gerald B. Cooper of Neptune, NJ and Jesse Maurice Jenkins, Jr. of Neptune, NJ; his sisters, Beatrice Willis of Dorchester, MA, Anne Ruth Ridley of Perris, CA, Brenda J. Terrell of Neptune, NJ and Joan Willis of Neptune, NJ; and his siblings-in-law, PeggyAnn Ellison of Tampa, FL, Jennatta Cooper of Ocean Twp, NJ, Gwendolyn Kendricks of Buffalo, NY and Donald Cooper of Buffalo, NY. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ely Funeral Home (3316 NJ-33, Neptune City, NJ 07753).
