She was predeceased by: her parents, Essick L. Sr. Johnson and Helen B. Johnson; her son Benjamin; her grandchildren, Dr. Gerald and Tymira Glisson; her siblings, Shenette Benjamin and Essick L. Johnson Jr.; and her aunt Vermell Bolden.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Glisson; her grandchildren, Sydney and Skylar; her siblings, Rev. James Benjamin (Rubye) of Stockbridge, GA, Michael Bolden (Rosalyn) of Sacramento, CA, Johnnie Benjamin Sr. (Lisa) of Dalzell, SC, Jackie Johnson-Dennis (late Hazel) of Rembert, SC, Diana Foye (Marshall) of Fredericksburg, VA, Delores Johnson-Wright (Johnny) of Neptune, NJ and Fonda Bolden of Stafford, NJ; and her godmother Celestine Overbey of Neptune, NJ. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
