He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Dougherty and Daniel Dougherty. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne Ashby-Dougherty; his children, Jean Marie Alban (James) of Robbinsville, NJ, Katherine Tiller (Jason) of Holmdel, NJ and Peter Ryan Dougherty (Christie) of San Diego, CA; his stepdaughter Mercedes McElrath of Tinton Falls, NJ; his grandchildren, Aidan, Brynn, Malone, Cara, Jason, Jack, Rory, Phoenix and Zaire; and his siblings, Lorraine Borthwick, Margaret Lang, Roseanne Dutton and Danny Dougherty. He is also survived by extended family members, friends.
