He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry McNelis and Loretta McNelis (Hanlon); and his brother Joseph of Howell, NJ.. He is survived by: his wife Carrie Ann McNelis; his son Matthew T. McNelis (Christina); his grandchildren, Liam and Sienna; his daughter Dr. Kirsten L. McNelis (Stephen Sinkovich); his siblings, John (Ann), Robert McNelis, Maryann Fletcher, Patricia Dague (Bill) and Margaret Martin; and his godchildren, Melissa O'Connell (Simon) and Jason McNelis (Jill). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel (115 Tindall Rd, Middletown Township, NJ 07748). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mary Mother of God Church (19 Cherry Tree Farm Rd, Middletown Township, NJ 07748). After COVID and working from home, the company became McNelis Enterprises, LLC.
