She was predeceased by : her parents, Mattie Lee and Lester Sapp; her daughter Rose Swiatecki; and her siblings, James Troy, Alfred, Rephard, Ralph, Melvin, Elsie, Bertie and Mattie Mae.

She is survived by : her children, Jennifer Ann (Bill Bauer) of Branchburg, NJ and Charlie (Mary Alyce Davis) of Hillsborough, NJ; her grandchildren, Paul Kessock (Daniel), David Kessock (Joy), Chris Miller (Eilene), Michael Kessock (Stephanie), CJ Davis (Michelle) and Amy Swiatecki-McCabe; her great grandchildren, Colin, Matti Miller, Brianna, Derek Kessock, Jacob, Brycen and Samuel Kessock; her son-in-law Bob Swiatecki; and also Bandit.
