It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lubomyr Flak of New Brunswick, New Jersey, who passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lubomyr Flak to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dmytro and Kateryna (Kis); and his brother Bohdan. He is survived by: his wife Christine (Rudzinsky); his sons, Daniel and Michael (Courtney); his grandchildren, Grayson, Harper and Mackenzie; his sister Rosalie Holowinsky; and his brother-in-law Walter Rudzinsky (Julie).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Lou's memory to the American Cancer Society or to the Ukrainian National Women's League of America, UNWLA.org, in support of the children of Ukraine which provides medical aid, mental health support, and other programs for children affected by the war in Ukraine.
