He is survived by: his wife Willie Bernice Stokes; his children, Anthony Stokes, Lionel Stokes (Stacy), Seth Stokes, Brigitt Stokes and Stephanie Needham (Vaughan); his stepdaughters, Sonia Watts (Jimmy) and Denise Magee; and his brothers, James (Helen) and Johnny Stokes (Gina). He is also survived by twenty-nine grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gleason Funeral Home (1360 Hamilton St, Somerset, NJ 08873). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
