He is survived by: his wife Deborah of Chesterfield, NJ; his siblings, Mary, Joseph, Michael, Timothy, Robert and Pamela; his children, Jon J. Smylie, Jr. (Linda), Thomas E. Smylie, William F. Smylie (Lisa), Kathryn Ann Gangel (Edward), Margaret Mary VanMater (Curt) and Carole J. Rosario (Brian); and his stepchildren, Nate Lyman (Rebecca) and Nicole Lyman. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
