Joan Kuharetz Obituary

The memory of Joan Kuharetz of New Milford, New Jersey, who passed away on November 21, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Birger Fredriksen and Signe Marie Fredriksen; her brother Birger; her sister-in-law Betty Fredriksen; her sister Lillian Fredriksen; her brother-in-law Boris Kuharetz; her son-in-law Daniel Patrick Stark; and her nephews, Gregory and Michael Fredriksen.

She is survived by: her husband John Kuharetz; her daughter Linda Jean Stark (Dan McLoughlin); her grandchildren, Laura Jean and John Peter Stark; her brother John; her sister-in-law Virginia Fredriksen (Ginny); her brother Robert; and her sister-in-law Angela Fredriksen. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Congregational Church of River Edge (109 Continental Ave, River Edge, NJ 07661).
