He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Tomassi and Ida Tomassi; and his girlfriend Frances Yack. He is survived by: his sister Frances Tomassi; his cousins, Michelina Foglia, Theresa Finnegan (Foglia), Francesca Tomassi and Maria Rosaria Tomassi; his children, Marc Tomassi of Summit, NJ, Suzanne Tomassi of Wenatchee, WA and Peter Tomassi of Novato, CA; his children-in-law, Kim Tomassi, Michael Kaputa and Nancy Page; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Matilda, Drew, Rowan, Amalia and Wren; his former wife Janet Tomassi; and his nieces, Karen Janiec and Michele Bennett.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walter Johnson Funeral Home (803 Raritan Rd, Clark, NJ 07066). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Vianney RC Church (420 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Hazel Wood Cemetery (64 W Lake Ave, Colonia, NJ 07066).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Marco's honor.
