She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Bock and Sandy Van Zyl; her grandchildren, Jessica MacKenzie and John Christensen; and her siblings, Edward Phillips, Richard Phillips and Theresa Delaquila. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ruth's memory to Faith Lutheran Church and ask that they are directed to one of Faith's ministries dedicated to feeding and caring for people —ministries that reflected the compassion and generosity Ruth lived by.
