We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2025, at the age of 86, Abilio Pais (Newark, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Jose Fernando Pais. He is survived by: his spouse Clotilde Pais Pais; his children, Francisco Pais, Ilda Vitorino (late John), Helena Candreva (Louis) and Emily Sanchez (Dennis); his grandchildren, Giovanni, Jonathan, Maxine (George), Gabby, Jennifer (Michael), Melanie, Gia and Nina; and his great grandchildren, Valentina, Giovanna and George. He is also survived by many brothers, sisters, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Buyus Funeral Home (426 Lafayette St, Newark, NJ 07105). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Benedict 's Church (65 Barbara St, Newark, NJ 07105).
