It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beryl Kentish (Newark, New Jersey), who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Daubon (Hillery) and Berisford Kentish; and her brother Karl Wesley Kentish. She is survived by: her children, Leslie Kentish, Charles Kentish, Lucy Santiago and Latrice Boyd; her grandchildren, Kyasia Smith, Nyleve Smith, Patricia, Phylicia, Mariah and Liannah; her sister Elaine Kentish; and her aunt Enid Higgins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Cotton Funeral Service (1025 Bergen St, Newark, NJ 07112). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
