He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Wesley Hawkins Sr. and Rosalee Hawkins; his wife Irene Hawkins of Irvington; his children, Terrence Hawkins of Atlanta, GA and Richelle Hawkins of Alpha; his grandsons, Brandon Devon Hawkins of New Orleans and Tahaj Wesley Hawkins of Alpha, NJ.; his great grandchild Brayden Xavier Hall of Newark; his aunt Eloise Baker of Philadelphia, PA.; and his godson Travis Jerome Brumfield of Newark. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
