She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Boyce, Sr. and Lucille Brook-Boyce; her husband Willie Horne; her daughter Deborah Smith; and her brothers, Horace Boyce Jr., John Luther Boyce and Daniel Boyce.
She is survived by: her children, William Smith III, Barbara Smith and Rita Crenshaw; her grandchildren, Alonzo Cumberlander, Dana Cumberlander, Keith Jacocks and Sholanda Smith; and her siblings, Cleaster Boyce (Pete), Johnnie Dale and Mattie Hubbard. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
