She is survived by: her son Rueben Marland Gillett; her grandchild Ravenné Gillett; her great grandchildren, Nasir Gillett, Malachi Gillett, Riley Gillett, Asai Gillett and Judah Spence; her grandson-in-law Michael Spence; her great grandchild David Spence; her sister Mary Elizabeth Pace; her daughter Katia; her grandchildren, Nigel and Rueben; and her great grandchild Zion. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Greater Abyssinian Baptist Church (88 Lyons Ave, Newark, NJ 07112). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
