He was predeceased by: his parents, Monserrate Padilla and Domingo Rios Acevedo; and his sister Barbara. He is survived by: his wife Rosa I. Dros; his children, Bridget Rios, Myra Rios, Shemia Stark (Jesus), Davidde Rios and Lisa Rios; his stepchildren, Joseph Martinez (Natalia) and Lisa Martinez-Evora (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Jabri, Abdur (Muizz), Chelsea, Dante, Lizbeth, Taina, Jessairah, Rando, Joseph, Farah, Charlotte and Tayla; and his brothers, Johnny, Domingo, Raymond, William and Jamal.
