It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jane L. Helsel of Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelo Valiante and Louise Valiante (Puitt); and her husband Paul David Helsel. She is survived by: her daughters, Diane L. Coleman (Joe) of Melbourne, FL and Janet M. Caruccio (John) of Newark, DE; her grandchildren, Paul Joseph "PJ" Coleman, Benjamin Caruccio and Amanda Caruccio; her siblings, Andrew Valiante (Wanda), Ursula Bea (Joe), Mark Valiante (Susan), Evelyn Sulecki (Steve), Louise Desmond (David) and David Valiante; and her sister-in-law Karen Cook (Al). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Elks Lodge (42 Elks Trail, New Castle, DE 19720). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Elks Lodge #2281 (42 Elks Trail, New Castle, DE 19720).
