He is survived by: his wife Alzira Aureliano; his daughters, Maria Natalia Martins (Edward Martins) and Daene Aureliano; his grandchildren, Michelle Martins (Joe Daponte), Erik Martins (Helena), Chris Martins (Emily), David Richards Jr. and Stephen Richards; and his great grandchildren, Maya Sofia Martins, Olivia Harper Martins, Tyler Kol Martins, Joey Daponte and Gianna Daponte. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
