It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Rosa of Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on May 22, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Julia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Julia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Alvarez Funeral Home (240 Mt Prospect Ave, Newark, NJ 07104). A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Arlington Cemetery (748 Schuyler Ave, Kearny, NJ 07032).
