With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leroy Richardson (Newark, New Jersey), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 19, 2025 at the age of 61. Though Leroy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Leroy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Josephine Shoates and Leroy Richardson, Sr.. He was also cherished by wife of 14 years; five daughters and five sons; five grandchildren; six siblings; and many other loving relatives and friends.
