It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Logan R. Cates of Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 28, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Logan R. Cates to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cates and Ruth Ann Cates (VanSickle). He is survived by: his siblings, Devin Cates of Lafayette and Alena Cates of Tennessee; his girlfriend Kahli Suggs-Barnes; and his nieces and nephews, Hunter, Kaiden, Chelsea, Sophia and Addison.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pinkel Funeral Home, Inc. (31 Bank St, Sussex, NJ 07461). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Pinkel Funeral Home (31 Bank St, Sussex, NJ 07461).
