He was predeceased by: his wife Violeta Bocanegra; and his niece Genny Bocanegra. He is survived by: his son Louis; his siblings, Miriam, Bertha, Sofia, Maria, Victor, Ana Del Pilar and Daniel; his nephews, Juan, Jeffrey and Jason; and his niece Ana. He is also survived by 13 great-nieces and nephews and also 3 great-great nieces and nephews.
