He was predeceased by: his brothers, Antonio, Joao and Jose. He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Maria Ponte (Joe) and Albertina Alves; his sisters, Maria and Matilde; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Eric and Isabella.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home (596 Belgrove Dr, Kearny, NJ 07032). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stephen's Church (141 Washington Ave, Kearny, NJ 07032). An entombment will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
