It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Fernanda Marques (Newark, New Jersey), who passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Antonio Ribeiro and Maria Da Nazare Ribeiro; her children, Cidalia Trucillo (Chris) and Marilyn Rocha-Carmo (Tomas); her siblings, Cidalia Marques, Amadeu Ribeiro and Manuel Ribeiro of Portugal; her grandchildren, Michael Santos (Ana), Jessica Trucillo (Matthew Leonardis), Nicole Trucillo, Alyssa and Ethan Rocha; and her great grandchildren, Jake, Leo Santos and Benjamin Leonardis.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Buyus Funeral Home (426 Lafayette St, Newark, NJ 07105). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (82 Congress St, Newark, NJ 07105).
