It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Y. Crawford (Newark, New Jersey), who passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Marilyn may no longer walk beside us, their memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marilyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In their absence, their spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Metropolitan Baptist Church (149 Springfield Ave, Newark, NJ 07102). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
