She was predeceased by: her parents, Portuguese Costa and Jose Joaquim Costa; and her husband Albino Nunes Herdade. She is survived by: her mother-in-law Maria of Jesus Costa; her daughters, Sharon Lee Kermode of Boulder Creek, CA. and Joan Herdade-Richman (Aron D. Richman) of Fanwood; and her grandson Alan Robert Richman (Victoria).
