Ruth Walker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Walker of Newark, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 20, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Scott and Sadie Lee Scott; her daughter Cassandra Scott; and her sibling Charlie Mae Keaton. She is survived by: her daughter Dianne Lowther (Walker); her grandson Marcus Lowther (Nathalie); her great grandchild Lucia; her grandsons, Kevin Lowther, II (Theresa) and Samuel Scott; her son Walter Allen Walker; and her siblings, Fannie Spinks, Ray Scott, Walter Scott, Macy Creech, Gladys Woodson, Emma Scott, Jean McCain and Benjamin Scott. She is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
