It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley W. Guthrie Sr. of Newark, New Jersey, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on August 27, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hillard J. Guthrie and Phoebe May Guthrie (Lee); his wife Dorothy Guthrie; and his children, Linda Guthrie (Wade), Barbara Guthrie, June Guthrie, Stanley W. Guthrie, Jr., John Guthrie (Bonnie) and Michael Guthrie.
